
Ralph Yearwood serves on the Board of Directors for the St. John’s Family Center, contributing his extensive financial expertise and leadership to support at-risk individuals and families in the Greater Bridgeport community.
A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, Ralph enjoyed a distinguished career in the financial sector spanning several prominent institutions. He initially worked in investment banking before transitioning to institutional asset management and marketing leadership. Over his professional career, he served as a Managing Director at Commonfund, a Managing Director at TIAA-CREF, and the Director of Marketing at The Managers Funds. He utilized his extensive expertise in these roles to manage large-scale portfolios and drive strategic corporate growth prior to his retirement.
In addition to his dedication to the St. John’s Family Center, Ralph is deeply committed to addressing housing instability and civic improvement across Fairfield County. He serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors and a member of the Affordable Housing Advisory Council for Homes with Hope. He was also appointed by the town of Westport—where he has resided with his family since 1984—to the municipal Affordable Housing Fund Committee to collaborate on local development funding. His broader community service includes serving on the Finance Committee of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut and volunteering as a youth mentor within the Norwalk Public School system.
