“Rod Rodriguez is a retired partner of Day Pitney LLP (fka Day Berry & Howard), a large east coast regional law firm, and former managing partner of its New York office.  Rod’s practice focused on strategic joint ventures and senior executive compensation for public and private companies and not-for-profit organizations. 

 

During college, Rod chaired  the Prisons Committee of Harvard’s Phillips Brooks House Association focused on teaching English language learners (ELL) at Massachusetts correctional institutions. Rod currently teaches in the ELL program at NOURISH in Bridgeport and is running a pilot conversational English program for ELL students on Saturday mornings at SJFC.  

Rod volunteers at the SJFC  food pantry in Bridgeport and at the Homes With Hope food pantry in Westport.   He served for 10 years on the Vestry of Christ & Holy Trinity (Westport) including a term as its Treasurer. 

Rod earned his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard College.
